We're a crime/mafia roleplay set in the present-day Chicago.

After bombing the harbour, the new gang in town, Enigma, all but declared war on the most powerful family in the city, the Bianchi Family. Police struggled to capture the culprits and were well on their way to build a solid case against the Bianchi, but their hard work was set back once the police department was bombed. Now, the war between the two sides is more heated than ever, and the casualties only tend to grow.

Uh, okay, so this week he didnt meet his sold drugs quota. So what, would the Bianchi hunt him down and squish him under their fancy shoe to make sure his bisuness didnt pick up again in his neighbourhood or what? He was, admittedly, a bit desperate because of the bad business. But also unsure if desperate enough to affiliate himself with the Bianchi. He was sure that once he'd get in, he will never be able to walk away unharmed, hence his fear towards the mafia. What about Enigma though? They were...new around, sorta..but he had never met an Enigma and he had no idea what kind of people they were (surely not worse than the Bianchi maybe).
He had 5 blunts left to sell and he was leaned against the wall of a library, knowing students usually hung out around there and consumed all sorts of substances, especially passed them around. Mike was dressed in a pair of dark jeans, sneakers and a sleeveless hoodie with the hood put up, foot againdt the wall as well as his back. He had the last blunts in his pocket where he kept his hands, and as some woman walked by, he figured he could try his luck. "Hey, miss, would you like a smoke?" His mom taught him to be polite, manners could get you anywhere...right?
ANDY BARTON // outfit

Another day, another buck, that's how Mike's routine usually was. Today being no different, of course. He opened in the morning, had a few customers and now the day slowed down. He had more time to focus on creating new designs for the tattoo book and rapping alongside G-Eazy's songs which played from the modest sound system in the parlour.

Mike finished off a tattoo sketch, pushing the paper to the side after tilting his head and examining the final result. He took another sheet of paper and scratched his short beard thoughtfully, before the doorbell rang softly to announce a possible customer.
FREDDIE HARPER

This gal's name is up to you, but we'll call her Jade until someone picks her up~
She is definitely the queen of the group, the heart, soul and the sass and she will protect her big dummies no matter what. From keeping Dominic from snooping on the wrong people to slapping some sense into Raymond for getting into dangerous fights and entourages, allllll the way to trying to make Mike understand that the drug business is very dangerous. Basically, she's the mother bear and perhaps the only one who has her priorities straight. Meaning, she's constantly on the lookout for jobs for herself and her friends much like a mom-manager.
Age:27+
Occupation: varies, from bartender to personal assistant, very open.
Details such as backstory, opinion on Enigma/Bianchi and sexuality are all up to you.
This guy's name is up to you too, but we can refer to him as Dominic until someone picks him up.
Dominic is perhaps the smarts in the group. Well, more like street smarts. He knows what's going around, be that dealing of drugs, cars, weapons, mafia gossip going around, he's just your man like that. Dominic is the kind of street information dealer that sees you, but you cannot see him. He mostly keeps Mike informed about the drug business as courtesy of being old friends and in return he can just benefit of the herd protection their group of friends offer. You know, when you hear and talk stuff on the streets, not everyone is pleased.
Occupation: Information dealer, snitch, whatever you want to call it, hell he can ever have some self-taught computer skills. Maybe he was that kind of geek in highschool. Not the physical fighter type (flee rather than fight), but will definitely outwit you.
Age: 28+
Suggested FC: Frank Smith (model)
Details such as backstory, future plans, opinions on Bianchi/Enigma and sexuality are all open to you. I'm also not opposed to him being Mike's brother, or Raymond's or Jade's. Everything open~

raymond (open name)

We'll call this dude here Raymond until someone picks him up and decides on a name!
The basics about him are that in highschool he was the jock type of guy, focused on sports and girls and just being the most liked guy on the field. Obviously, real life doesnt pay you for being a 'cool kid' and he had to face the harsh reality when highschool was over. He couldnt flirt his way into getting jobs without working for real and most definitely flexing his muscles doesnt help him either now. I would like if he was still the womanizer kind of character, still very much jock-like but now he needs to survive in Chicago, find ways to make money and live decently.
Occupation suggestions: bouncer, bartender, anything underdog you can think of so he can live the struggle and try to fight to make someone of himself, be it by reaching to the Bianchi or to Enigma. He's the kind that would rather solve a problem by punching or charming it, not really thinking twice before doing that.
Age: 27+ , give him some good years of figuring out Chicago's deal and street smarts in general.
I would love it if he still thought of himself as some important figure just because he was popular in school, and would try to get in the Bianchi's good graces.
Details such as history, siblings, other motivations/plans are totally up to you!
Hello there! Thanks for checking out these ads! Hopefully either of them catches your attention :D
What I'm looking here for is a kind of squad for MIKE SMITH, his closest friends. They're a knit-tight bunch, I like to picture them as having stuck together through good and bad, perhaps their friendship has its roots in their highschool/elementary school years. It can be discussed for each of them though, as I'm quite open with these wanteds as long as the essence stays the same. They're made for you to have fun with after all ♥ If you'd like to claim either of them, post below or let me know via pm/cbox :D Face Claims are also negotiable, so dont be shy about approaching me with a different play by in mind. Additionally, if you wish to connect either of the three via sibling relationships I am totally fine with that~

Oh, such a day. It started off as peaceful and uneventful, but then the Bianchi made their presence known. Known, to Chicago, as a routine, known to their enemies, as a formality, and known to any possible clients or associates, as a "blessing" in disguise. Mike didnt doubt that this move had to be well thought, otherwise he might just damn himself with no escape route. He wasnt afraid that the Bianchi would look down on him, or search to off him if he didnt comply to their rules (which was basically what word on street said about them), he was quite used to being treated as the lowlife he was. But Mike was scared of the longshot outcome. Would affiliating with the Bianchi be a good idea? It was just drug business anyway.

He arrived at the Bianchi mansion after the cab dropped him off (he couldnt afford a limo, much less a car on his own) and entered the beautifully decorated and spacious yard, greeted by guards of the Bianchi family. Mike got searched of any weapons, and since he had none, he was allowed to approach the mansion. He only had his sort of worn out backpack, but it didnt contain anything threatening. He did rent a suit for this meeting though, there went the money on 2 months' dealings.

After knocking, he was greeted by a butler who invited him in, told Smith to take a seat and wait for someone to come. He presumed he'd be either meeting an underling (since Mike himself wasnt that important) or some sort of associate. But not once had he thought he'd meet the godmother or the right, respectively left, hands.

Morgana Ashford

Typical day: opening the parlour, turning on the lights inside which were mostly for decor at such hours, and obviously making sure the place was ready for a new day. The big glass windows allowed any passerby to glance inside the place, check if anyone was on duty or if the parlour was crowded at that time. A big neon sign was nailed above the entrance and the front of the business, spelling "Get Inked", yet during daytime, the lights would be off.

From the outside, it much looked like a stereotypical tattoo parlour, "inhabited" by scary people with ink covering their skin, smoke filling the air and shitty music reaching their ears. But as soon as you'd be inside, there would be no suspicious smoke, and no weird music either. A faint melody could be heard, volume no higher than 30% probably, since it was used for ambient. Lets get Lost - G-Easy made for a good background that didnt disturb anyone talking or simply waiting for their turn to either be served, if they wanted to buy anything (from the recycled skateboards turned guitars, exposed on a wall above the sofa, to the small wood carved items) or if they wished to get a tattoo.

A tall, built man, dressed in a pair of dark pants and a sleeveless hoodie, strolled from the room in the back to the so called lobby, stretching one black latex glove off of his left hand and tossing it in a near trashcan, only filled with other such gloves and napkins stained of ink or traces of blood, as well as used needles. The man went behind the main counter, being handed the money for a tattoo from his last client who was putting their jacket back on. "Have a nice day!" Mike smiled and cashed in the money as the freshly tattooed guy left, and he was all alone in his parlour again for now.
